PASHA Group, one of the largest group of companies in the country, understands its responsibility towards the country, employees and society and tries to behave accordingly. The company pays great attention to its social activity and sees this activity as one of the main values ​​it creates for society. The Group's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities are multifaceted and support for children, especially children from low-income families, is an important part of these activities.

 

Thus, in September, PASHA Holding, which continuously implements CSR projects, has traditionally implemented the "Birincilər" ("The firsts") project to hand out sets of school supplies to children from low-income families living in the regions who received the title of school students on the eve of the new school year. With the support of the Social Service Agency, school uniforms, school supplies as well as school bags were presented to more than 11,600 children within the framework of charity events held in Baku, Absheron-Khizi, Mountainous-Shirvan, Shirvan-Salyan, Central-Aran, Karabakh, Ganja-Dashkasan, Sheki-Zagatala, Lankaran-Astara, Mil-Mugan, Guba-Khachmaz, Gazakh-Tovuz and Nakhchivan AR. Since the last year, within the framework of the current project, school supplies are also provided to the children of martyrs.

 

In addition, during this period, on the initiative of "Birgə və Sağlam" PU, with the support of PASHA Holding as well as the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, KOBIA, SOCAR, and Trendyol Azerbaijan, the first inclusive cafe started operating. The aim of the said initiative is to support the employment of young people with disabilities and promote their integration into society. A total of 20 young people work in "Kashalata" cafe, located at 57 U. Hajibeyli Street, 10 of them are physically disabled.

 

It should be noted that subsidiary companies of PASHA Holding also pay great attention to their social activities. Thus, Kapital Bank has taken another step in the field of corporate social responsibility and launched a new scholarship program with the aim of supporting the education of girls from vulnerable groups. The program will be implemented within the framework of the memorandum signed between Kapital Bank and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan some time ago.

 

PASHA Bank, the country's first corporate bank, ADA University and ADA University Foundation held meetings in boarding schools on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The first initiative of the project coincided with the significant day of December 3 - the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. On this occasion, on December 3, a meeting was held with about 100 students studying at general purpose boarding school No. 1 and at Integrated training boarding school No. 11. A special training was organized by artists with the participation of psychologists to reveal the creative way of thinking of 6-11-year-old students studying in school number 11, to support them to express themselves more fluently. They were told about the importance of staying away from bad habits, the importance of working on oneself to benefit oneself and the society, as well as the importance of acquiring education and profession.

 

During this period, PASHA Insurance carried out a special drawing competition "Məktəbli" for schoolchildren aged 6-15 in order to promote voluntary health insurance. More than 100 schoolchildren applied for participation in the competition. Children sent their paintings according to the theme to PASHA Insurance company, and the paintings evaluated by the jury were selected to be displayed at an exhibition. 30 children and their parents were invited to the exhibition where the selected works of art were displayed, and the winners were determined in 2 different age categories, with 3 winners in each. During the exhibition, children played different games, had fun, and at the end, they were presented with various gifts.

In addition, some time ago, PASHA Life sponsored the "Hurry to Be Merciful" project in cooperation with Red Crescent Society. Within the framework of the project, various warm clothes were presented to children who need them during the cold winter months. This initiative is designed to support underprivileged children.

 

It should be noted that in December, the "BRAVO" market chain is carrying out the “Bir qəlbi də sən isit” ("Warm one heart") campaign with the support of the "ASAN Volunteers" Organization and in cooperation with the "ASAN Letter" social program in order to make the dreams of children in need of social care come true. Thus, "ASAN Letters" on which children write their wishes are placed in the "New Year" stands installed in Bravo hypermarkets near 20 January and Koroglu metro stations. It should be noted that by approaching Bravo Hypers, you can familiarize yourself with those letters and help children's dreams come true.
