"Veysaloglu" and "Zafar" Public Union organized an iftar event for more than 100 mothers of martyrs

An iftar meal was organized for a group of martyrs' families during the holy month of Ramadan by "Zafar" Support for Martyrs' Families Public Union and Veysaloglu Group of Companies (VGC). The wives and mothers of more than 100 martyrs who gave their lives for the sovereignty of Azerbaijan participated in the iftar meal. Among the guests there were also family members of martyred employees of VGC from Baku and regions.

The event began with the commemoration of dear memory of martyrs, singing of the national anthem, and prayers for the souls of martyrs. The event was attended by deputies of Milli Majlis: Fatma Yıldırım, Mehriban Valiyeva, Nigar Mammadova, Natavan Ibrahimova, head of "Oba" supermarket chain, which is part of the Veysaloglu Group of Companies, and Konul Karimova, financial director of VGC, and expressed their deep respect for the families of martyrs.

During the speeches, the chairman of "Zafar" PU Sevinj Orujova, wife of the founder of the Veysaloglu Group of Companies Aydin Talibov, Afet Talibova, and the Corporate Communications Director of the Group of Companies Sanubar Nazarova emphasized their pride in our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland, attention and care shown by our state to the families of martyrs and veterans, as well as the support provided by the VGC to the employment of the families of martyrs. Several mothers of martyrs also spoke at the event and expressed their deep gratitude to the organizers for the attention and respect shown. The event dedicated to the memory of martyrs continued with an artistic part.

It should be noted that 13 employees of the Veysaloglu Group of Companies have reached the peak of martyrdom, and their salaries are paid to their family members. Currently, 639 veteran employees work at the VGC, and psychological support is provided to veterans within the framework of social responsibility projects and their active participation in relevant trainings is ensured, continuous trainings are organized to improve their knowledge and skills. This event was organized on the occasion of both the holy month of Ramadan and March 8 - International Women's Day, and was an expression of deep respect and gratitude to the families of martyrs. As Veysaloglu Group of Companies, it is our honor to always keep alive the dear memory of our martyrs and support their families.
