The "Youth vocational guide" project is being launched
The “Youth vocational guide” project is being launched with the organization of the “IRELI” Public Union, support of the Ministry of Science and Education, and the partnership of Lankaran State Vocational Education Center.
According to the information provided by the press service of the Public Union, the project aims to form “youth vocational guides” in order to effectively attract young people to vocational education, increase their motivation, and create a bridge between their skills and the needs of the labor market.
Considering the special need for professionally educated personnel in the modern labor market, as well as the low interest of young people in this field, within the framework of the project, 20 young leaders and school teachers - multiplayers between the ages of 23-35 are selected and two-month intensive trainings, a 5-day camp, and an “educational trip” to the Lankaran Vocational Education Center are planned for them. The trainings will cover the topics of promoting vocational education, discovering the skills of young people, and increasing their motivation.
After the training program is completed, participants will be sent to the capital and regions, where they will hold direct meetings with girls, schoolchildren and other young people who cannot continue their education, as well as with their parents. In addition to initial information sessions, individual diagnostics, skills discovery and career guidance sessions will be organized at these meetings.
In the sustainability part of the project, participants will continue the process of informing about the importance of vocational education through contacts established with young people in the regions, and will sometimes continue their support by holding online sessions.
Finally, the long-term continuation of the educational process through the partners involved in the project, as well as support for young people interested in vocational education, will continue.
