The summer school of "YASHAT" Foundation in London has ended
The second "YASHAT" summer school, organized by the "YASHAT" Foundation, with the main sponsorship of "Azerkontrakt" Open Joint Stock Company and the partnership of the national carrier of Azerbaijan "Azerbaijan Airlines", was successfully completed in London, the capital of the United Kingdom.
The summer school, which spanned July 13-27, was held at University College London, and during the program, participants were involved in 3-hour English lessons daily.
Within the framework of the program, participants also participated in interesting excursions. Visits were made to Madame Tussauds Museum, famous for its wax sculptures, to "Buckingham" Palace, which is considered the official residence of British monarchs in London, and to the highest amusement wheel in Europe, which is called the Eye of London and is located at a height of 135 meters.
The project participants attended the party organized for them with the support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora and organization of the British Azerbaijan Society.
Certificates were also presented to the participants of the summer school.
The main goal of the project is to increase the outlook, knowledge and skills of children of martyrs, to ensure their active participation in cultural exchange, to support them to spend their time effectively, to make new acquaintances and friendships.
The summer school included 12 children of martyrs who achieved the most successful results in the 9th grade graduation exam in our country.
It should be recalled that last year the summer school was held in Frankfurt, Germany.
