The State Support Agency for NGOs received 754 project proposals for 2024 competitions
A high level of activity was registered in the 2024 contests announced by the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations.
779 NGOs applied for registration in the electronic system to upload their projects. 42 of them were not registered because there were technical defects and deficiencies in the documents submitted by the NGOs, additions and corrections were not made in time. Thus, 737 NGOs had the right to upload projects for the small, medium and large grant competitions of 2024. In conclusion, 754 project proposals were accepted.
The division was formed as follows:
Small grant competition - 532 projects;
Medium grant competition - 147 projects;
Major grant competition - 75 projects.
It should be noted that the results of the technical expertise will be reported to all NGOs within the next 1 month. An independent group of experts will check projects that have successfully passed the technical expertise stage. After that, the Supervisory Board of the State Support Agency for NGOs will review the projects with independent expert evaluation on a collegial basis.
The names of the winners are expected to be announced in February 2024.
