The "Revival Cup" sponsored by "Veysaloglu" has started - the funds obtained will be directed to the revival of Karabakh
The official opening and drawing ceremony of the "Revival Cup" charity mini-football tournament, which will be organized by the Karabakh Revival Fund, and will be held under the main sponsorship of the Veysaloglu Group of Companies, was held.
The ceremony started with the presentation video of the tournament. Chairman of the Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Rahman Hajiyev, who delivered the opening speech, gave extensive information about the tournament.
Aydın Talibov, chief executive officer of Veysaloglu Group of Companies, the main sponsor of the tournament, noted the importance of the competition and expressed confidence that it will be organized at a high level, and stressed that they are always ready to support such initiatives.
Touching on the importance of cooperation with the Fund in terms of supporting projects related to the development of Karabakh, Aydın Talibov noted that the Karabakh Revival Fund identified the needs and priorities in the territories freed from occupation and provided companies with complete information, encouraging business subjects who want to contribute to the restoration and development of Karabakh to more purposeful activities.
After the speeches, sponsors and partners who supported the event were presented with special plaques and "Certificates of Appreciation" on behalf of the Karabakh Revival Fund. Then the drawing ceremony of the mini-football tournament was held. Based on the results of the draw, 40 teams from the public and private sectors that will participate in the tournament have been divided into 4 groups with 10 teams each.
It should be noted that the "Revival Cup" charity mini-football tournament was initiated and organized by the Karabakh Revival Fund, with the main sponsorship of the Veysaloglu Group of Companies, support of the Azerbaijan Football Federations Association (AFFA), partnership of "Azerlotereya" OJSC, and the information support of the "CBC Sport" TV channel.
The funds obtained from the tournament will be directed to the construction of sports fields in the territory of the Fuzuli Central Park, which will be built in the liberated city of Fuzuli by order of the Karabakh Revival Fund. Thus, in addition to participating in the tournament, the teams will also contribute to the rehabilitation of Karabakh.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Veysaloglu Group of Companies has been successfully cooperating with the Karabakh Revival Fund within the framework of various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects since 2022.
