The opening ceremony of the "School Volunteer" program was held
On March 15, the opening ceremony of the "School Volunteer" (“Məktəbli könüllü”) program, which was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and the initiative of the "One Volunteer" Student Organization, was held in the educational complex numbered 132-134.
Director of the educational complex, Sara Khanlarova, who delivered the opening speech, wished success to the members of the program.
After that, the project leader, chairperson of the "One Volunteer" Student Organization, Leyla Zeynalova, informed the event participants about the goals and objectives of the program. Leyla Zeynalova said that the program serves to form the profile of socially active and socially responsible schoolchildren among 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade students.
To date, more than 1000 applications have been submitted to the program, which covers only general educational institutions located in Baku, Khyrdalan and Sumgayit territories at the initial stage. 720 people were invited to the interview stage and 350 of them won the program membership fee.
