The country's biggest youth festival "Summer Fest" has started

The biggest and expected youth festival of Azerbaijan "Summer Fest" (Yay Fest) has started its work again this year in a different and fun format.

The festival in the format of a tent camp is supported by the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "IDEA" Public Union, COP29 Presidency, Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union, Azerbaijan Volunteers Public Union, "CAVAN" Youth Movement Public Union and "Young Volunteers" Public Union and was held in Shamakhi.

The purpose of conducting the "Summer Fest" is to promote wide opportunities created for young people in various fields in accordance with the state youth policy, to support the development of young people and the efficient and fun spending of their free time, as well as to support the networking and socialization of young people from different regions.

With thousands of young people participating, Summer Fest is packed with a wide range of entertainment and learning opportunities to create an energetic and dynamic environment for young people. The festival, which has been organized since 2019, will last for two months and will consist of a series of camps covering various topics. As in previous years, this year, eight consecutive camps are planned according to thematic topics.

More than 2,000 young people are expected to participate in this festival, and all the necessary conditions for the camp participants have been created by the organizers.

It should be noted that on July 15, within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World", the first camp of this year "Summer Fest" has been started under the slogan "Together for a greener future!".

It was reported that during the COP week, which will take place within the framework of this year's camp, intensive trainings will be organized by the experts of the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company on various topics such as sustainability, environmental protection, reducing the effects of climate change.
