The closing ceremony of the "Inclusion Month" project was held

The closing ceremony of the "Inclusion Month" project, dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the "Volunteer DOST" program, was held by the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

State and private sector representatives, NGO representatives and other guests took part in the event.

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev noted the steps taken in the field of strengthening the social protection of vulnerable population groups is one of the important directions of the successful social policy of President Ilham Aliyev, and said that consistent work is being done to support the creative potential of people from this category.

Important role of the idea of ​​an inclusive society in uniting public and private institutions more closely within the framework of corporate social responsibility and development of society has been brought to attention.

At the event, there was an introduction to the exhibition of works prepared within the framework of the "Inclusion Month" project, "Rockabilly dance" dance performances of "Sema" dance group and young people with Down syndrome, inclusive dance performance "Danceability" were presented.

For the first time in the country, an "Adaptive fashion" night was held with the participation of young people with Down syndrome and autism, specially made clothes adapted to national ornaments were shown.

People's artist Tunzale Aghayeva and "Blue hearts" autistic youth choir group, Honored artist Sevda Alekbarzade performed their performances, the song "Kharibulbul" was sung by a visually impaired person.

The report video was presented to the participants. It was reported that 17 partners, 224 beneficiaries and 110 volunteers have been involved in 11 sub-projects under the 3 components of the project.

It should be noted that the "Inclusion Month" project aimed to integrate young people with autism and Down syndrome, including the visually impaired, into society, spend their free time effectively, and develop relations with state and private organizations within the framework of corporate social responsibility.

The project was implemented with the main sponsorship of "PASHA Insurance" and "Badamli Mineral Waters" LLC, sponsorship of "McDonald's Azerbaijan", AFFA, AKTI, Youth Fund, "LIBRAFF" store chain, SHAH&mat club, Icherisheher State Reserve, "Natavan Art" fashion house, sponsorship of "Temiz Sheher" OJSC, "Art and Creativity Club", "Beauttech" and "Makeup Academy", and partnership of "Together and Healthy" Public Union, Azerbaijan Visually Impaired Society, Down Syndrome Youth Rehabilitation Center (Public Union for Care-Healthy Generation) and Baku Congress Center.
