The 5th year of DOST was also successful

Last year, more than 700,000 citizens were served in DOST centers, in total, about 2 million citizens were served in the past period, and the level of satisfaction in this area is 98 percent. This was stated by Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DOST Agency, in connection with the achievements of the last year.

The head of the institution noted that by the decree of President Ilham Aliyev, the DOST Agency and the first DOST center were opened in May 2019, which allowed citizens to be provided with social services from a "one window" on modern, flexible and transparent mechanisms.

- Karabakh Regional DOST Center and Karabakh Regional Vocational Training Center were also opened last year. At present, 7 DOST centers provide services to citizens at a very high level. The activity of the DOST Agency, which celebrated its 5th anniversary this year, was highly appreciated in the international arena. Many countries are interested in applying the DOST experience, and work is being done to study our experience in order to apply the DOST model of Azerbaijan in those countries.

This year, the international conference "DOST 2023: a unified platform for the provision of flexible, innovative and sustainable services" held in Azerbaijan for the first time in the field of social services that was met with great interest. Within the framework of the "DOSTTALKS" project, "Heydar Aliyev in memories", as well as many events and projects were implemented.

The chairman of the agency further stated that "DOST Call Center - 142" responded to the appeals of 1.8 million citizens in 2023 and more than 5.1 million in the previous period. The activity of the "Voluntary FRIEND" program is expanding, cooperation with a number of organizations in the field of promoting the values of Corporate Social Responsibility of the agency is increasing. The chairman also spoke about the exhibition-fair "Boundless Talents" jointly organized by DOST Agency, Azerbaijan Banks Association and Baku State University, and pointed out that last year was successfully completed.
