Startup National Cup 2024 was organized by Miniboss Business School Baku
"Startup National Cup 2024" was held among 6-17-year-old children on entrepreneurship with the organization of "MiniBoss Business School Baku".
Within the framework of the event, fourteen teams presented their business projects in various fields to well-known entrepreneurs and investors of the local business community.
The founder of "MiniBoss Business School Baku" Narmina Hasanova said that today the teams presented to the jury the projects they presented at the last forum and created with the grants allocated to them:
"Startup Forum, which is held today as always, is a platform that helps children and teenagers to reveal their talents. Every year, students of "MiniBoss Business School" present their projects to judges and receive grants for which their projects have been awarded. The minimum amount of grants was 700 AZN, and the maximum amount was more than 3000 AZN. Through those grants, 17 teams have already implemented their projects. I would like to mention that this year the world championship will be held in Istanbul, Turkiye, on June 30-July 1. Our winning teams will have the chance to present their projects in the international arena".
The members of the jury are Rufat Atakishiyev, the deputy chairman of board of KOBIA, Samir Mammadov, manager of the United Nations Global Compact for Azerbaijan, Mert Bashar, Marketing Manager of "Azercell", Ulkar Sattarova, director of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under the Ministry of Science and Education, Rza Nuriyev, managing director and partner of "Boston Consulting Group" company, Aygun Hajiyeva adviser to the vice-rector for state, foreign and student affairs of ADA University, Afat Ahmadova, founder of "ZİRA Natural&Gourmet" and entrepreneur, listened to the projects presented by the children and evaluated them on criteria such as innovativeness, profitability, scope of the project, media coverage, as well as answering questions of the jury.
