"Of course, we want millionaires and billionaires to come out of this field"

Farid Ismailzadeh, co-founder and president of "Technovate - Sabah Melek Investors Club", founder of "Melek Investors School", gave an interview.

- All the technological companies you know today ("Apple", "Google", "Tesla", "Amazon", etc.) were startups at one time or another. Yes, now they are multibillion, even trillion-dollar companies. Melek investors are those who invest in these startups when they are still being produced in the garage, when they are at the idea stage. These investors earned a hundred, maybe a thousand times more than the amount they invested. There is no other type of investment in the world that will bring such an income.

First, we created the Club and then the School in order to train Azerbaijani Melek investors, teach the experience of this business, and thus, as a corporate social responsibility, contribute to the development of the startup ecosystem in Azerbaijan on an innovative basis, to the improvement of investment activity and the business environment.

- One of the regional stages of SWC's 2024 global startup competition will be held at ADA University on September 20.
