"Enactus Azerbaijan" National Competition has been successfully concluded

The "2024 Enactus Azerbaijan National Competition" supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Youth Foundation, Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union and organization of "Enactus Azerbaijan" has been successfully concluded.

At the final ceremony of the National Competition held at Baku Youth Center, Rashad Zeynalov, the head of the "Enactus" program for the country, the general secretary of the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union, in his opening speech, gave detailed information about the work done in 2022-2024, the preparation process of the teams and the upcoming "Enactus" World Cup.

The guests who spoke at the event - Gadir Khalilov, acting executive director of the Youth Foundation and chairman of the board of "Enactus Azerbaijan", Narmin Aslanbeyova, head of the Programs sector of the Department of Youth Affairs of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Parviz Miralamli, chairman of the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union - emphasized that one of the main directions of the state's youth policy is the education of young people. They also noted the importance of reforms in the education system and adaptation to the requirements of modern times, and said that projects such as "Enactus" play an important role in the development of knowledge and skills of students.

As a result of the evaluation of judges in the semi-final stage, higher schools that qualified for the final among 24 teams - "Enactus" teams of Azerbaijan Medical University, Baku State University, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan State University, Baku Higher Oil School, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University presented their projects and answered the judges' questions.

By the decision of the jury, the "Enactus" team of Nakhchivan State University was declared the winner and won the right to represent Azerbaijan at the "Enactus" World Cup, which will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan on October 2-4 with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

In addition, the "Enactus" team of the Baku Higher Oil School won the second place, and the Baku State University team won the third place.

At the end of the event, the winning teams were awarded.

It should be noted that "Enactus" is the world's largest experience and learning platform aimed at creating a better world by training the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders and social innovators. "Enactus" provides opportunities for young people to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, implement business, educational and social projects and promotes entrepreneurship. The "Enactus" program was established in 1975 in the United States, and in Azerbaijan this program is implemented by the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union.
