Employment of 60 young people with disabilities will be supported under the joint project with UNICEF

A meeting was held at Baku DOST Center No. 5 with disabled youth involved in the project "Supporting the socio-economic activity of disabled youth" jointly implemented by UNICEF and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

The goal of the project is to support young people with disabilities to acquire labor skills according to the requirements of the labor market, to increase employment opportunities, and to create relevant experience opportunities.

At the first stage, interviews were held with more than 200 students and graduates with disabilities within the framework of cooperation with about 20 educational institutions. About 60 of them were involved in the project.

At the meeting, young people involved in the project were given detailed information about the training program, the next stages of the project, available opportunities, and interactive presentations were made.

In the next stage, the implementation of appropriate technical trainings, joint meetings with employers and the organization of job fairs for them are planned in accordance with the interests of those persons.
