Bank Respublika was once again awarded the "National CSR Award"
Bank Respublika, which implemented numerous social projects last year, has been selected as the winner of the "National CSR Award" contest held for the fifth time in our country for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects.
The Bank received this award for its "Children of martyrs are important for us!" project. Thus, within the framework of the project, on "June 1 - Children's Protection Day", employees of the Bank who participated in the Patriotic War, visited children of the martyred customers of the Bank, who brought joy to our nation, and presented them with various books and gifts.
Speaking about the power of the Azerbaijani Army and heroism of our martyrs during the war, the employees of the bank told the children to be proud of their father's bravery and that the people of Azerbaijan will always remember them.
The mentioned project was selected for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the UN General Assembly. Companies operating in various sectors in our country, such as education, banking, healthcare, mobile operator, insurance submitted their projects to the competition. The winners were determined by a commission consisting of representatives of a number of state institutions.
It should be noted that the main purpose of the "National CSR Award" competition is to encourage the increase of the number of corporate social responsibility projects and charity works implemented in our country, as well as to appreciate the activities of companies implementing CSR projects on a wider scale.
