"Bank of Baku" took care of nature - tree planting action
Bank of Baku, based on the slogan "Banking Close to Nature" in its corporate social responsibility, continues its projects aimed at protecting the environment and nature.
On October 30, a tree-planting action was held in Mushfiqabad settlement of Baku, organized by "Bank of Baku" and supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
Management and employees of Bank of Baku took part in the tree planting action emphasizing the message "Let's join hands for the sake of a green world".
The main goal of the action held on the eve of COP29 is to support the actions carried out within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World", to contribute to the greening of territories in our country, as well as to draw attention to the processes taking place in the world related to ecology and to remind the importance of greenery.
More than 300 Eldar pines and Olive trees were planted in the ecological action, which were selected for their easy adaptation to the soil and climate conditions of Baku-Absheron area.
It should be noted that before that, Bank of Baku collected more than 500 kg of plastic and other household waste on Bilgah coast of the Caspian Sea.
Under the slogan "Banking Close to Nature", Bank of Baku continues its educational activities and events aimed at protection of the world, protection of nature, and economical use of natural resources, both within the bank and for the public.
