"Baku ID" innovation festival was launched with the support of IBA
"Baku ID" innovation festival has started in Baku Crystal Hall with the main sponsorship of IBA and the support of "SABAH.HUB" Innovation Center. This is the main start-up innovation event of Azerbaijan and the region as a whole. Among the main sponsors of "Baku ID" there are the Ministry of Science and Education, SOCAR, 4SIM, PASHA Holding, Mappable and IDDA, in addition to IBA.
The festival held on June 27-28 is the third such event in our country. More than 200 local and foreign investors, more than 100 foreign and local start-ups, 5000 participants and more than 50 partners took part in this year's "Baku ID" event. Within the framework of the event, a startup fund was created with the support of "Startup Wise Guys", "White Hill Capital", "Caucasus Ventures", "MOST Ventures", "Startupbootcamp", "Aloga Ventures" and "SABAH.fund" venture funds.
With the support of IBA, startups can compete within the "Startup Battle" concept during the event and win a 15,000 AZN grant award. Throughout the event, startups will have ample opportunities to network with investors, present their ideas, and potentially get investment.
"Baku ID" innovation festival has supported the development of dozens of startups during its activity period. In total, startups managed to receive more than AZN 1.7 million in investment.
IBA, which supports the development of the innovation ecosystem in our country, devotes a special place to the support of such useful projects in its social responsibility programs.
