Azerbaijani children’s football team will take part in the “Real Madrid Foundation World Challenge” tournament
From March 25 to 28, 2024, the Real Madrid Foundation World Challenge tournament will be held in the capital of Spain, Madrid. Children’s football teams from 16 countries will take part in this event. For the first time, the Azerbaijani national team will be represented among the participants, the general sponsor of which is ABB Bank. All matches will be held at the Academy of the Real Madrid football club.
All tournament participants were selected through the Real Madrid Foundation Clinic program, which is held in various countries. In August 2023, this program was implemented for the first time in our country. As part of this program, a football camp was organized on the territory of Sabis Sun International School with the support of the main sponsor – ABB Bank, as well as partner companies such as Visa and Epoint. As a result, the best players were selected and the Azerbaijan Footland team was formed.
From June 24 to June 28, 2024, the next program “Real Madrid Foundation Azerbaijan Clinic” is planned to be organized in Baku.
