Azerbaijan International Mining Company Limited Continues Its Corporate Social Responsibility Projects

As one of Azerbaijan's leading gold and copper producers, Azerbaijan International Mining Company Limited (AIMC) places a high priority on social responsibility, focusing significantly on community development and welfare. To this end, AIMC has been continuing social support projects in the Gadabay region, carrying out broad initiatives to improve the well-being of low-income families and support, in particular, the education of the younger generation.

In partnership with its PR partner, Synergy Partnership LLC, one of Azerbaijan's leading PR and marketing companies, AIMC projects go beyond merely assisting families in need—they aim to have a positive impact on the lives of every resident in the region. One of the company’s social initiatives was launched ahead of the school year for children from low-income families starting first grade. AIMCL representatives visited the villages of Soyudlu, Dashbulakh, Kharkhar, Arıkhdam, and Karadakh in the Gadabay district, where they extended their best wishes for a successful start to the students’ educational journeys.

As part of the project, school uniforms and supplies were gifted to students from various schools across the region. Beneficiaries included 34 students from Ə.Musayev High School in Soyudlu, 35 students from Arıkhdam High School, 16 students from Kharkhar High School, 22 students from Gadabay District High School No. 2, 12 students from Karadakh Middle School, and 1 student from Dashbulakh Middle School.

This initiative is only a part of AIMC corporate social responsibility activities, which are continually being expanded. The company remains committed to standing by the communities in Gadabay, finding solutions tailored to their needs, and supporting everyone’s journey towards a brighter future.
