"Araz" supermarket chain has started master classes for women
"Araz" supermarket chain, which is one of the country's largest employer companies, makes a significant contribution to the employment of the population, especially to the creation of job opportunities for women. Various projects are regularly implemented by the company in this direction. The next project implemented in "Araz" in the direction of increasing knowledge and skills of female employees, raising their professional indicators and motivating them is the "Women's Power" project.
Within the framework of the project, a meeting was organized with professional women managers who have achieved career advancement and young female employees who have just started working in the company. The purpose of the meeting, organized in the format of a master class, is to motivate women who have just taken steps on their career path, to form their leadership skills.
The first master class was organized with Amina Bashirova, financial director of the "Araz" supermarket chain. New and promising female employees of "Araz" stores also participated in the meeting. The financial director shared with them her thoughts on the path to success, her career experience and gave recommendations.
It should be noted that from the beginning of 2024 until now, nearly three thousand women have been employed in the "Araz" supermarket chain. Currently, 50% of "Araz" employees are women. Their average age is 36. About 200 women are represented in the expert staff, and more than 200 women are in managerial positions. Since the beginning of this year, 3 thousand women have participated in the trainings organized by "Araz".
The measures and initiatives implemented by the company in the field of women's employment are also highly valued by the relevant state institutions. Thus, in 2023, "Araz", a social partner of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, was awarded the main prize in the nomination "The most active private social partner supporting women's employment".
