An Azerbaijani businessman will sponsor the Malta Championship

An Azerbaijani businessman will sponsor the Maltese Premier League.

It was reported that the company 360 Holdings LTD headed by Azerbaijani oil and gas tycoon Nasib Piriyev will be the sponsor of the local championship. It was emphasized that 360 Holdings LTD, a subsidiary of PNN Group of Great Britain, will pay 600,000 euros in 3 years. In other information, it was mentioned that the company has not yet been registered in Malta and the process will be completed in the near future.

Joseph Muscat, the former prime minister, who currently heads the Malta Football Federation, also commented on the issue. He called this agreement a successful cooperation.
