A Memorandum on cooperation was signed between the State Committee and Azerbaijan Banks Association

A memorandum on cooperation was signed between the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs and the Azerbaijan Banks Association within the framework of the “Sən Tək Deyilsən” ("You Are Not Alone") support project for the education of wives of martyrs.


Within the framework of the event, a meeting was held with spouses of martyrs who entered universities this year. Bahar Muradova, the chairman of the State Committee, who gave an opening speech at the event, greeted the guests and congratulated the spouses of heroes of the Patriotic War on their admission to universities.


B. Muradova pointed out that the scope of social projects is gradually expanding and cooperation with relevant state bodies, business organizations, non-governmental organizations and press is being carried out in the direction of work with vulnerable groups.


B. Muradova noted that the State Committee has implemented a number of projects to support the families of martyrs within the framework of corporate social projects, both in regions and in Baku, starting from 2020.


Zakir Nuriyev, the President of the Azerbaijan Banks Association, who made a speech, drew attention to the Association's measures implemented within the framework of corporate social responsibility, and noted the importance of signing such Memorandums in order for the work done in this direction to be systematic, result-oriented, and to correctly define the target groups.


Z. Nuriyev noted that according to the Memorandum, they will cooperate on exchange of mutual experience, organization of joint programs, implementation of innovative initiatives, awareness in the corporate social field, etc.
